Raleigh North Carolina ISSA Chapter: The primary goal of the ISSA is to promote management practices that will ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information resources. The ISSA facilitates interaction and education to create a more successful environment for global information systems security and for the professionals involved.

We usually meet the first Thursday of every month at McKimmon Center in Raleigh, located on the campus of NC State University.

The meeting starts at 6 PM with a social hour of networking, which usually includes a catered meal, courtesy of our meeting sponsor.

We call the business meeting to order at 7 PM, and the information security technical presentation usually begins at 7:30 PM.

Get ready to study for the CISSP!

Security professionals at the Raleigh ISSA Chapter will be bringing the first 30 students to register the next CISSP Exam Review in March, to help them prepare for the upcoming CISSP Examination in April!

Fall Conference

The Raleigh North Carolina ISSA Chapter held its seventh annual one-day 2011 Triangle InfoSeCon security conference on Thursday, October 20th, 2011. The conference was a huge success with over 400 people attending! The 2011 event smashed last year's record of 340 attendees. Our next eighth annual 2012 Triangle InfoSeCon information security conference will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2012, and is already shaping up to be another stellar event.

Community Service

On January 25th, 2011 the Raleigh ISSA Chapter donated $10,000 to the Charles W. Kelly/Raleigh ISSA Scholarship Endowment, making the total endowment gift to date $47,500.
