William Hirsch

William Hirsh receives the nomination for member spotlight. William attended a hands-on training event hosted by Raleigh ISSA; while at the course he noticed some things that could be more efficient. He took the initiative to build a prototype, submit his ideas to members of the board, and assist the chapter in developing a discord chat server which will allow our members to communicate free from social media.

My name is William Hirsch; I am an Army Veteran served 6 Years and went on two deployments. I have always had a passion for computers and finding ways to simplify tasks. I am working my way through my base certifications right now to allow me to get into a career that aligns with my interests in the computer world. My Long term goals are to become a pentester as well as participate in physical security testing. I enjoy the aspect of being able to come together with people that hold the same interests as me to allow me to have fun and engaging conversations. I am in between Jobs at the moment and utilizing my time by studying my hardest to obtain my certifications.
