Michael Ward

My name is Michael Ward and I am a student at UNC-Chapel Hill, majoring in Computer Science and Information Science.

As a student, I am beginning to consider the direction I would like to take as a young professional. The ISSA has helped me tremendously when it comes to narrowing my career path and preparing me for a future in the security industry. Through the ISSA, I have been able to meet fantastic and knowledgeable individuals already in the field, participate in career-building sessions, and take advantage of certification courses to put me ahead when searching for the perfect security position.

I am forever grateful to the ISSA for helping me shape my future. I cannot wait to give back to the organization that has given so much to me.
