Closing the TLS Inspection Gap by Dale Guise, Gigamon

While TLS encryption ensures data confidentially and integrity it also presents challenges for enterprise security inspection and monitoring. With 90% of traffic encrypted and 70% of malware using encrypted channels in 2021, effective decryption is imperative.

This session explores TLS Inspection concepts, challenges and approaches including TLS 1.3 and forward secrecy. We’ll take a look at technical, architectural, security and administrative challenges along with practical approaches and best practices being used to close the TLS inspection gap today.
