Too much data\, too many tools\, and not enough time\, personnel\, or resources. This story has been around for a while\, and we know that a single failure can lead to catastrophic outcomes. Hence the need to welcome and adopt effective automation and AI to help us stay ahead and to revolutionize our cybersecurity stance. \nThe industry has been broadly focused on automating MTTD and MTTR to better help identify and mitigate threats post-incident. However\, automating pre-breach defense and hardening is something that is missing. What if we could harness automation and big data to proactively manage our security posture\, and identify and remediate misconfigurations\, eliminating security gaps and vulnerabilities way before malevolent actors can exploit them. \nJoin us to explore how automation can transform our approach to cybersecurity\, turning it from a reactive response into a proactive strategy. \nAbout the Speaker: \nVC Lingam is a security advocate and consultant currently employed as a Sales Director and Strategist at Veriti Security\, a security orchestration automation company. While his primary focus is on Bourbons\, Ryes\, and Cigars\, in his free time he continues to educate himself on cyber risk and cyber resiliency\, whether it is the tooling or the processes and policies that we are all working to perfect in our efforts to keep the lights on.
