Topic: Former FBI Agent Shows Actual Attacks Against Global 2000
Description: There are a myriad of bad actors exploiting multiple attack vectors and vulnerabilities on an on-going basis. Detecting and preventing attacks against inherent vulnerabilities can be paramount in keeping an organization safe and secure. During this session, Dan Woods, former FBI Agent and CIA Cyber Operations Officer, and current Global Head of Intelligence at F5, will show you actual attacks against Global 2000 organizations. He’ll explain how F5 used client-side signals to detect and mitigate the attacks, and he’ll explain how client-side signals can also be used to prevent manual attacks and reduce friction for good customers. No death by PowerPoint here.
Dan Woods, Global Head of Intelligence, F5
Dan spent more than 20 years with local, state, and federal law enforcement and intelligence organizations including the FBI as a special agent where he investigated cyber terrorism, and the CIA where he served as a cyber operations officer.
