$99 = 8 weekly programming classes for 2nd-5th grade & online access
April 16, 2018
$99
Mad Science of the Triangle is offering MISSION:CODE
a weekly programming class for students in the 2nd-5th grade. Students learn the basics of programming including variables, loops, and algorithms through a combination of unplugged and online activities. THIS IS NOT SCRATCH OR MINECRAFT.
MISSION:CODE is based on a programming curriculum developed in the Netherlands. It has been used worldwide to teach more than 130,000 children coding fundamentals. In MISSION:CODE, students write commands to move their robot through a grid and complete tasks. The solution is evaluated and feedback is given based on how efficient the code is. A progress tool shows how well students have mastered the programming concepts in the game and the lessons can be adjusted accordingly. Students have at-home access to the class content and game for 1 year so that they can continue to play and practice the coding skills they have learned.
