Andrew Griffin

My name is Andrew Griffin, I am 22 years old, and I was born and raised on the Outer Banks, North Carolina.  I am currently a rising senior at East Carolina University majoring in Information Computer Technology Networking Systems and minoring in Business Administration.  I am a Founding Father and the Community Service & Philanthropy chair for Sigma Nu on East Carolina University campus, an active member of the National Honor Society of Leadership & Success, active Alpha member of the Future Alumni Network at ECU, an active member of the student chapter of the ISSA at ECU, and an active member of the Raleigh chapter of the ISSA.  I am currently completing my third internship at Cisco Systems on the SFNOC under the Cloud Manage Services department on the PlatOps Network Team.  During the school year, I work two jobs: Manager at Outback Steakhouse and I am a Technician for Classroom Technology Support at ECU.  I am currently looking into pursuing a Masters program at East Carolina University, go PIRATES!!!!  I love hanging out with friends, going to the beach, spending time with my family, friends, and my little miniature Jack Russel puppy!!!

Accomplishments:  I am Career Readiness Certified at the Silver Certificate Level, I successfully manage a staff of 40+ employees at Outback Steakhouse for six years now, I will be the first one to graduate college of my family this coming May, I currently hold my CCNA, CCNP – Switch, while pursuing my CCNP – Route certification, in August I will complete my third internship at Cisco Systems, having already completed two internships at K.P.M.G previously, I am the first Alpha class to be in the Future Alumni Network at ECU, I received the Allen C. Poe Excellent Technical Assistant award for the 2017-2018 academic year from the Global University program at ECU, and I am headed towards receiving cum laude upon graduating ECU in May 2019.
